We sent our ladies to Texas A&M on April 10th for SEISA Women's Champs. Saturday was successful for the Longhorns, placing 2nd out of 5 competing teams and qualifying us for Women's Nationals at the end of May. Congratulations to the 1st and 2nd place team, Texas A&M Galveston and Tulane, who qualified as well!
We are excited to send a team to Galvestion this weekend to compete in SEISA Team Racing Champs.
The Texas Sailing team is still recruiting new members for the fall. We will be tabling at West Mall and the Gregory Plaza this week (April 19th through 23rd) if you have a chance to stop by. In addition, we would like to welcome you to join us for a meeting and/or a practice to meet the team.
Our meetings are held regularly every Monday in Parlin 105 at 8pm, and our practices are Tuesdays and Thursdays at 3:15. Experience in sailing is not a prerequisite, and many of our members had never sailed prior to college.
