The University of Texas Sailing Team

Saturday morning started with temperatures in the low 30s and wind at 10-14 knots from the north/northwest leaving Austin with a wind-chill around 25 degrees. Due to the weather, races were postponed until 1100 to wait for the air temperature to rise. Races commenced at 1200 as the temperature was rising and the wind was decreasing. The breeze stayed steady out of the north/northwest at 9-12 knots. Six races were completed in each division.

Collegiate sailors also shared the race course with the Vanguard 15 fleet who brought 9 boats. Thank you for coming out and showing us such a great competitive fleet.
